I Found The Shoes On My Own....

You might remember the pictures of me wearing daddy's shoes. In those pictures, mommy helped me step into daddy's shoes. Well, the other day, while daddy was getting ready for work, I found his shoes on my own and climbed in -- and of course, daddy took pictures....

My Mommy's Hat

Last week, I showed you a few pictures of me in my daddy's shoes. Today, I found my mommy's hat. It was so much fun to wear her hat. I made lots of funny faces and it made me laugh a lot.

I found the mirror and then I turned the hat around backwards.

Snow Day!

Yesterday was a snow day in Springfield. 8 inches in my backyard. Hip hip hooray! So much fun. I watched the doggies (or as I call them, the woof-woofs) in the neighbors' yard play in the snow. I also watched daddy dig out the driveway so he could go to work.

Later, after my nap, Doll came over and we went outside in the wagon. She took me up and down the street so I could see all the snow. And we were so lucky. It warmed up and the streets started to thaw. When daddy came home in the afternoon, he took me and Olivia out in the wagon and I ddin't even have to wear any mittens.

Isn't daddy's outfit silly? I heard mommy tell him that if he didn't change out of his suit or roll up his pants, he would have to put them in the dry-something. I guess daddy didn't want to do that with his pants.

My Daddy's Shoes

Daddy says that there is a saying about walking a mile in somebody else's shoes. Since I don't really walk very much yet without holding on to something, I am not going to walk a mile. But I do like shoes. And earlier this week, while I was getting over being sick (and thank goodness, I think I am almost over my weeks of being all kinds of sick), I found daddy's shoes and mommy helped me to climb into them. Here are a few pictures of my adventure. Hope you guys had a good February and are ready for spring. I know I am!

Happy Birthday to Mommy

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear mommy, happy birthday to you. Yes, that's right, today is my mommy's birthday. We celebrated her birthday over the weekend. Aunt T and baby Nathan came down from Kansas City and Great Granddad, Nanny, Bird, and Connie came up from Harrison, Arkansas. We had Doll's famous spaghetti and meat sauce and Bird's famous salad dressing. For dessert, the adults had Doll's cheesecake. We ate in the sun room at our house. It was a lot of fun. I got to go on a wagon ride and I got to pull on Nathan's foot. I don't think he liked it when I pulled on his foot.

A lot of things have happened since the last time I wrote. My mommy had to spend Super Bowl night in the hospital because the new baby was trying to come too soon. The doctor put mommy on something called "bed rest." I don't know what that means but I do know that I am spending a lot more time with daddy and the babysitters.

Baby Nathan sleeps a lot. Everyone likes to look at him while he is sleeping. He is not as much fun as I am.

A Ride in My Red Wagon

Wow! Today was so much fun! Mommy went to KC yesterday to visit Aunt T and Nathan, so I spent last night and today with daddy (and Doll and Granddad). Last night, it was just me and daddy. This morning we went to breakfast with Doll and Granddad. After breakfast, I played with Doll and Granddad while daddy went to work for a bit.

It was really nice outside today (daddy said it was over 50 degrees), so when daddy and I went home, daddy took me for a ride in my wagon. It is the wagon that my MiMi and Papa gave me for Christmas. It was a lot of fun!!! I smiled at all the girls and waved at the doggies.



We went to the playground and I got to play on the swings. I also climbed the stairs of a jungle gym, "scooted" across the shaky bridge, and slid down a slide with daddy. So much fun....
