Great-Granddad's Special Day

Last Friday, Mommy, Daddy, Lena and I went down to Harrison, Arkansas for Great-Granddad Cash's special day. Great-Granddad used to be a football player for the Harrison Goblins in Harrison, Arkansas, and they gave him an award at a dedication before last Friday's football game. Doll, Granddad, Nate, Aunt Nancy, Uncle Phil, Aunt Connie, and Cousin Aaron were all at the game with Great-Granddad and Nanny. We got to go out on the field as honorary captains -- and I got to stand right behind the football players when the referees flipped the coin. It was soooooo much fun....

The best part of the night, other than being a "captain," was that I got to eat a hamburger from the fed-ex grill and I dipped my hamburger in red (ketchup) and yellow (mustard) dip....

Great-Granddad has a really cool letterman's jacket and a hat that says he is an "Old Time Goblin." Thank you Great-Grandad for letting us be part of your special day!

Calling the Hogs

Woo Pig Sooie! Last Saturday, Daddy and Graddad took me to my first football game. It was an Arkansas football game. They were playing the gators. All I know is that the Arkansas team (I think Daddy called them the Razors) wore red uniforms and the Gators had on blue pants. I know this because I am learning my colors. Daddy and I wore our red shirts and I got to ride in the backpack on the walk into the stadium.

Granddad let me use his fun noisemaker. It was like the ones that the cheerleaders had, but much littler. Granddad even held my noisemaker for me.

I wore Granddad's hat for a few minutes. I liked it at first, but then I started trying to take it off.
Here's a picture of me and Granddad before we left his house. Doll made Razorback shaped cookies with red icing and sent a thermos of milk. Granddad drinks almost as much milk as I do!

When we got to the game, I rode on my car in the parking lot for a few minutes before we walked into the game. Daddy was really worried that I wouldn't want to stay in my seat...

But the game was a lot of fun. The Arkansas team didn't do very good though. This picture is right before the only play where they scored a touchdown. After they scored, a big cannon went off and everybody started yelling and clapping and saying Woo Pig Sooie!!!

Here's a picture of me and Daddy during halftime. The band is in the background and I called them the "horns."

I made a new friend at the football game. His name was Ethan and he had a temporary tatoo that was shaped like a Razorback. He is six. I let him use my megaphone (noisemaker). We had a lot of fun.

I had so much fun at the game that I only asked Daddy to go on one walk. And we made it to the 4th Quarter! I hope I get to go to another Football game soon....

Vacation With MiMi and Auntie Rachel

In my last blog entry, I told you that Mommy and Daddy went on vacation in September. They went somewhere with a beach that starts with a T. I can't remember. Maybe it was Timbucktu... Anyway, while they were gone, Sissie and I stayed with Auntie Rachel and MiMi. MiMi flew all the way from Baltimore to stay with us. And we had soooooo much fun. Here are some pictures from our adventure.

Here is a picture of me with MiMi and Sissie. MiMi doesn't look too tired. It must have been Auntie Rachel's night to have "Lena duty."

One of the boys in my school had a birthday and I got a cool Krispy Kreme hat. Don't I look like a doughnut chef?

Sissie likes her tummy time....

And most importantly, while Mommy and Daddy were gone, MiMi bought me a lawn mower. And every day we played outside and I "mowed" the lawn. Thanks, MiMi. I hope you come stay with us again soon (and you don't even have to buy me anything...).

Last Days of Summer

Daddy told me that we need to tell everyone who reads the blog that we are sorry. We are sorry for not writing for a while. Daddy says to tell you that for a couple of weeks, he was really busy at work and then he and mommy went on a big vacation. I will tell you more about that later. But for now, I want to tell you about the end of my summer.

The week after Labor Day, Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Rachel, and Lena Grace went to stay with MiMi and Papa for a couple of days at their vacation house in Branson. It was really neat because it had this really pretty pool with a waterfall. So we played in the pool every day. I played with a ball that I found and threw it at everyone, even people who aren't in my family.

Daddy spent some time holding Lena, but she just stuck her tongue out.

My little sister is so pretty.

I spent a lot of time "swimming." I call it swimming when I lay on my stomach and act like I am swimming.
I like holding MiMi's hand. She is lots of fun.
Bye-bye summer. It is time for my favorite season. FALL! I can't wait to play in the leaves, celebrate Halloween, and eat Turkey for Thanksgiving. Yeah!

Doll and Granddad are 40

During the same weekend as my birthday, Doll and Granddad turned 40 -- together. They have been married for 40 years. Aunt T and Mommy threw a party for them and invited a whole bunch of their friends. I got to go to the first half hour of the party. It was at a really neat restaurant by the river and I kept running in and out of the back door so that I could try to find rocks or play hide and go seek with myself. Lucky for me, my Uncle Phil was there too, and he got to join me in my adventure. While I was playing, Nanny and Bird were taking turns holding Sissie.

Here is a family picture from the party:

Doll and Nanny look pretty in pink. And Sissie looks really happy with Nanny.

Sissie looks even happier with Great-Granddad.

Here is a good picture of me and Uncle Phil. I am telling him a story about the river.
Mommy and Aunt T got lots and lots of balloons for the party. And I thought that one of the balloons needed a hug.
Bird had this really cool hat, but she wouldn't let me touch it. She said something about that it was the hat that she wore to Doll and Granddad's wedding, whatever that is. Anyway, the hat is really pink and she carries it around in a big hatbox. Here is a picture of Bird wearing her pinkk hat.

More Birthday Stuff

I promised pictures of my weekend birthday bash, so here they are.

Here is a picture of me and mommy with the yummy birthday breakfast she made for me. I had pumpkin rolls (like cinnamon rolls) and yummy grapes and apples and scrambled eggs!!!

Here is Sissie in the cat-bird's seat during breakfast. Doesn't she look happy?

I was a little scared of the candles at first and I didn't know what to do. But everyone helped me blow them out. Mommy made me fun Elmo cupcakes, complete with marshmallows and m & m eyes.

Sissie tried to eat some of my cupcake (not really), but I wouldn't share with her. I am glad that Sissie and Doll were at my birthday.

For one day only, I am the king of the house....

Thanks for looking at my birthday pictures.

Graham Henry Is 2!!!!!

Yes, it is true. I am two. Two years old. Yes I am. I am Graham. A 2 year-old Graham.

Saturday was my second birthday. I want to say think you to all the little people who made my birthday so fun: Mimi, Papa, Granddad, Doll, Auntie Rachel, Aunt T, Cousin Nate and, of course, Mommy and Daddy and Sissie.

Here is a picture from my birthday breakfast. I will post more pictures soon.
