A Very Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your Christmas was as fun as my family's Christmas. We did lots of neat stuff. Daddy and Mommy took me to see Santa Claus for the first time. He was really scary looking and I didn't like him very much. But at least I had on a cool hat. I tried to pull on his beard, but he wouldn't let me.

Daddy looks much happier than me.

Mommy dressed me up in some really cool Christmas clothes and we took pictures for the Christmas card. Here are a few of my daddy's favorite pictures from that day.

I will write more soon about my family's Christmas. Until then, Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!!!!

RedPin x 2

I promised you more from RedPin. This picture is of what daddy called "the bah" -- at least that's what I heard. Daddy said that those signs say that I can't go to the bah until I am 21.
Here is a picture of me and daddy and Mr. Shawn and Declan. Don't I look happy when daddy is holding me?
Declan is holding one of the red pins from RedPin. It made a lot of noise when he knocked it over.
Here we are with mommy and Ms. G. It is very dangerous to leave me and Big D alone. You never know what we might do. A few seconds after this picture, we were both crawling across the table.
Declan liked the red bowling balls and I liked the green ones.
I scooted all over the place at RedPin. I can really scoot fast on smooth floors. I tried to scoot down one lane, but daddy wouldn't let me.
Here you go daddy. Here is the red ball. Just a second... I can pick it up. I know I can...

The Great RedPin

A couple of weeks ago, my mommy and daddy and I drove down to Oklahoma for the grand opening weeked for Ms. G and Mr. Shawn's new bowling restaurant -- RedPin Bowling Lounge. We had so much fun. I got to play with Declan ("Big D"). Big D is my really cool friend -- he can walk and say some words and he can even make animal sounds. He is so much fun.

My mommy and daddy and Mr. Shawn and Ms. G took me and Declan to RedPin for lunch on Saturday. It was very yummy. Declan and I had kiddy macaroni (Kraft Mac & Cheese type) and a yummy fancy hotdog (Mr. Shawn said something about Angus, but I don't know what that means). The picture below is of RedPin's door. RedPin is in Bricktown in Oklahoma City and it is right next to the canal. Boats go by and drop people off at the front door. Really cool. I wish I was like Declan and could live in a place with a RedPin.
This is the inside of RedPin. There are bowling lanes and daddy said you throw a ball at pins to knock it down. Mommy said that you don't really throw the ball -- you roll it, but that daddy sometimes throws it and gets in trouble.
I will post more pictures of our RedPin adventure later. Only 12 more days til Christmas.... I can't wait!

A Cold Day in the Park

On the day after Thanksgiving, I had a great surprise. Daddy and mommy's friends William and Renee, and their kids Cole and Connor, went to breakfast with me, daddy and mommy. Then daddy and William (or Sherman, depending on who you ask) took me and Connor and Cole to the park. Connor and I swung on the swings. It was really, really cold, but I would have stayed out there all day if mommy would have let me.

Here are a couple of pictures of William, Connor, daddy and me.

Doesn't mommy look so cold.....
Connor was walking and running everywhere. I can't wait to be big like him.

Happy Turkey Day 2007

Happy Thanksgiving (or as Dada says, happy turkey day) everyone! I hope you had lots of fun. I did. Mommy and daddy and Leo and I (we left Olivia at home) went over to Doll and Granddad's for the day. We had a yummy lunch (I ate turkey, sweet potatoes, rolls, rice, and green beans -- Aunt T made the green beans) and I got to play a bunch with everyone. Connie and Phil and cousin Aaron came to dinner. Aunt T and John and John's kids were there too. I played and I played and then I got really tired. So I took a super long nap. Must have been the turkey.

Anyway, here is a picture of me and Grandad and Doll. I'm wearing my turkey day outfit.
I'm learning to walk. I can't do it by myself yet, but I can do it with mommy's help.
More walking....
But my preferred method of transportation is still the scoot. I am earning my nickname ("Scooter").

Crazy Fall Weather

I live in Springfield, Missouri. In Springfield, the weather is always crazy. Especially in the fall. Last week, it was 20 degrees one morning. The furnace in our new house wasn't working and it was freeeeeeeeeezing cold. Then, this weekend the weather felt like summer. It was 75 degrees today and really sunny. That's why I'm not wearing any shoes in my fall pictures. I got to play in a pile of leaves today. Daddy threw leaves at me and I threw leaves at daddy, when I wasn't eating them. So anyway, here are my fall pictures. I hope you enjoy.

I am getting excited for the holidays. Even though this won't be my first Thanksgiving and Christmas, it will be the first one where I can move around. I can't wait to tell you all of my stories. Plus, this Christmas I will have a cousin for the first time (because My Auntie Jessica is having a baby in December).

First Day of School

Yes, you read that right. I went to my school today for five hours. My "school" is Westminster Presbyterian Church's parents day out program. Since it is cold here, I wore some of my warm new clothes. I even wore shoes. I had lots of fun at school! We took naps and ate lunch and played with lots and lots of toys. My mommy said she had never seen so many toys and such a big mess when she picked me up.

In this picture, I am showing off my teeth! And I am wearing my back to school clothes.

Here, I am showing my newest trick. I can make my way over the step up between our sun room and living room and then I can scoot all over the house.

Don't you like my shoes? My aunt T got them for me.

Happy Fall Y'all!

Happy fall y'all! Wow, October has gone by sooooo fast. I have had so much fun in my new house. There are lots of things to learn to do. I am still scooting and I haven't started walking yet, so I'm scooting a lot faster these days. I have learned how to scoot over the small step from the living room to the sun porch. I have also learned how to scoot up on to the big step over at Dall and Granddad's house. I am pulling up on everything and I expect that I will be walking everywhere in a few days.

I didn't really dress up as anything for Halloween this year. I did take some fall pictures when we were in the mountains about a month ago and I thought I would share them with you. I hope you are having as fun of a fall as I am.

I am ready for my first real holiday season. While I was around for last Thanksgiving and Christmas, I couldn't really participate in anything. This Thanksgiving and Christmas should be a lot more fun. Talk to you soon. Bye-bye!

The Missing Mountain Pictures

A few weeks ago, I started telling you about our vacation to the mountains in North Carolina. Since then, my mommy, daddy, and I have moved into our new house in Springfield. Our new house is pretty cool, but it doesn't have the internet yet, so daddy hasn't been able to put any new pictures on the blog (or the "blob," which is what my GG calls it).

I told daddy I wanted him to put a few more pictures up from our vacation to North Carolina. Here are those pictures.
Before Mr. Brian, Ms. Kelly, Marshall and Natalie left, we took a group picture on the porch of the mountain cabin.

Then we walked down to a waterfall in a stream by the house and daddy took this picture.
Here is a picture of me and my mommy and daddy.
That afternoon, my mommy and daddy and I went on an adventure and found a playground. We had so much fun. I got to play with the baby swing, I went down the slide with my daddy, and they had a make believe car with a steering wheel. I "drove" and daddy helped me stand up.

Near the playground, there was a really pretty lake. We went on a walk on the walking trail around the lake. In the background, you can see that the leaves were beginning to change colors.
Daddy took lots of pictures of me. For this one, he put me down on this long wooden bridge. I don't know what he wanted me to do, but I guess it makes a pretty good picture.

Our Mountain Adventure

Day two of our mountain adventure included a stop at a duck pond in Banner Elk, NC. I really liked the ducks. They made lots of noise and came up real close to us. I fed the ducks some of my sweet potato puffs.

My daddy gave me a piggy-back ride. I really like when we go on vacation, because I get to spend more time with my daddy. On day three of our mountain adventure, we went fishing at Grandfather Trout Farm. I wore my special mountain shirt that has bears and other animals on it for the adventure.
Mr. Brian helped John Marshall fish. They caught the first trout. Both the trout and John Marshall jumped around a lot.
Mr. B and Natalie and Ms. Kelly caught two fish at the same time.
Here is a picture of me with my daddy, my mommy, and a trout that my daddy caught. We ate smoked trout for dinner that night, but of course I didn't get to have any.
After we went fishing, we had a picnic in the campground next to Grandfather Trout Farm. I love picnics. Then we came back and took a picture with the big trout. He looks mean, doesn't he? I'm glad the fish daddy caught didn't look like that.
