Hanging Stars

My last post was a little misleading. While we were celebrating Christmas in Harrison, it wasn't really "on Christmas." We went to Harrison on a weekend before Christmas. This post is all about our preparations at home for Christmas.

First, Daddy told me we needed to "fix" the Christmas tree. I heard the word "fix" and I came ready with all of my tools...

Then, Daddy and Mommy took some pictures of us for Christmas. This one was Daddy's favorite. He likes it because of the smile on Lena Grace's face.

I like this one -- because it shows off my cool white shoes.

While we were putting up the Christmas decorations, I decided that the teddy bears needed to go night-night, and that I needed to go night-night with them in the box (which I call my "van").

We put up our Christmas tree and we decorated it with huge gingerbread stars (nobody told me they were cookies -- if they had, the stars wouldn't have points). We also decorated the trees with some pretty white lights and colored paper garland. It was very pretty. Whenever anyone would come over, I would take them and show them our tree.

It was my job to hang the gingerbread stars on the tree. I think I did a pretty good job. I didn't break any stars.

Of course, I did hang all of the stars in one spot on the tree....

We did a lot of fun things getting ready for Christmas. I can't wait to show you more pictures about our family Christmas. Stay tuned.
